Student Hairdresser Award - GSA 2019

The Student Hairdresser Award gives future stylists and stylists-in-training the chance to compete on a real stage and be inspired by the world of professionals. A total of 15 students from ITE College East, MDI College and Vintage Studio Academy participated this year, displaying their original and unique creative cut and colour on their dolly heads. Our judges — Johnny Ang Boon Tiong from Jean Yip Pte Ltd, Issac Ng from TonI&Guy, Gregory Lai from Salon B, Justin Javier Tan from Shunji Matsuo and Irene Teo from The Hair Secrets — scored the looks based on creativity, technique and the overall look.
