Starting her journey when she was 16 by working in her aunt’s salon, 72-year-old Helen Yong has 56 years of experience and is still actively honing her skills, upgrading herself. It all started as an interest when she helped out at her aunt’s salon before it grew into a passion.

Turning 76 this year, Anna Lee has almost 60 years of experience as a hairstylist. Despite the lack of opportunity to study back then, Anna feels that she is lucky, successful and happy at how her life had turned out. Now, she would allocate some of her time to do volunteer work to give back to the society that had helped her when she was younger.
