KEVIN.MURPHY Radiant Flux Collection

Featuring eight brilliantly balanced shades, RADIANT FLUX is a daring exploration into light, shadow, depth, and contrast for the ultimate in lived-in colour.

Shot by photographer, Luis Murphy, in a historic Prague location, the blazing, luminescent colours of the RADIANT FLUX collection are beautifully offset against the stark backdrop of an abandoned film set. The building lent itself perfectly to the shoot, as its massive glass windows allowed natural Autumn tones to accentuate the light and shadow of the collection and illuminate the radiant shades even further.

The inspiration behind RADIANT FLUX:

According to brand founder Kevin Murphy, “For this collection, we utilised light and

shade both on the set and throughout the hair to create contrast, much like an artist would do when painting. A fresh take on neon shades, our neo-colour palette brings lived-in looks to life for an intentionally unintentional finish.”

Formulated with a calculated use of contrast and depth, each shade in the collection represents a new wave of perfectly imperfect shadow play. The new looks include:

1. DOMINIKA, a gloriously illuminated blonde that enhances brightness without depth. 

To achieve this “uncoloured” look: combine COLOR.ME’s new GOLD and CRYSTAL* for a warm effect, with STONE and SILVER to enhance new growth.

2. JOHANA, an ethereal Nordic blonde, relies on a variety of lighteners for precise placement of light and shadow to enhance the hair’s motion and texture.

3. VILMA is an eye-catching neo-pop of apricot. Refined and polished, this colour is created with a mix of TONERS and GOLD to give a new dimension of brightness.

4. ANETA is a raw and unrefined neutral blonde, balanced with detailed new growth for added polish.

5. ANNA, a soft platinum blonde, is achieved by targeted colouring to create depth and lightness.

6. KATERINA is the ultimate lived-in, well-rested blonde. This shade utilises refined shadowing to illuminate the natural variations throughout the hair.

7. EMMA is a luxe brunette with beautiful dimension. This shade has subtle variations that contour and enhance each area and draw the eye to detailed pieces of hair.

8. MARION, a neo-pink lavender, combines shades of haunting deep blue and electric purple to create a captivating iridescent pastel.
