Goldwell GlobalZoom2019 National Judging
Date: 6 June 2019
Venue: Goldwell Academy
Goldwell Color Zoom 2019 is here with a brand new theme — RƎMIX. Hairstylists are challenged to go loud with bright and bold colors, mix pop with punk, use sharp contours and strong contrasts. They are to use bold and vivacious brights that have a motivating and uplifting effect; tweak strong primaries with expressive colors for freshness and are set side by side for an anarchic clash of color.
The five esteemed judges for this year are (in no particular order): Michael Lee, Salon Director of Kim Robinson Salon; Dict Koh, Director of Toni & Guy; Edwin Chua, Senior Lecturer of Beauty and Hair Fashion at ITE College East; Circe Henestrosa, Head of School of Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts; and Jeremy Leong, Founder of H4ufme.
The national judging for Color Zoom 2019 was held to determine the top 5 semi-finalists of the Partner, Creative and New Talent categories. The judging was done based on the hairstylists’ Fashion Interpretation, Technical Execution (color, cut, texture and styling), and the Total Look.
It was a very tough competition. After much deliberation from the judges, here are the Top 5 Semi-Finalists of each category! Stay tuned to find out who will represent Singapore in Vienna, Austria!
