Goldwell ColorMania Gala Night 2019 – A Night Where Fashion & Hair Collides

To celebrate Singapore’s hairdressing talents, Goldwell Singapore invited all their Goldwell/KMS salon partner and stylists to S.E.A. Aquarium, Sentosa for the Goldwell ColorMania Gala Night 2019. This was a night where fashion meets hairdressing artistry, against an aquatic backdrop.

Todrick Hall’s “Do I have your attention?” blaring in the background brought the attention of the 300 hairstylists back to the stage, as a group of dance performers kick started the night. The performers also acted as models halfway through their performance for the KMS Style Community - Joey Liew (D’Sire Hair); Michael Chiew (Hairloom); Serene Tan (Chez Vous); Alex Neo (The Lawn Hairdressing); Kenneth Tham (Roots Where Hair Begins) – using the latest KMS StyleColor, a line of flexible on/off spray-on colours.

Dylan Tung (Evolve Salon), one of the Goldwell Global Artists and the National Gold Winner 2017 presented key looks from the 2019 Color Zoom collection, REMIX. REMIX is a collection that encourages stylists to reinvent the classic looks through bold colours and sharp contours. The Color Zoom National Artistic Team – Sandy Yeo (Evolve Salon); Yuunjin Ho (Evolve Salon); Reno Tan (Hairloom); Jacky Tan (Starlight Salon); Paul Chong (Super Blades); Jophy Tio (Super Blades) – also presented their interpretation of the REMIX Collection.

The REMIX Collection’s bright and bold looks were juxtaposed by the Avant-Garde showcase of dark and gothic looks designed by Ken Hong, Goldwell Global Artist. The looks on the runway were hauntingly beautiful.

Aside from witnessing the masterpiece by our talented designers, the Gala Night was not complete without an official winner announcement of the Goldwell Color Zoom 2019. The national winners will be representing Singapore at Vienna, Austria this October. Here is the Goldwell Color Zoom GOLD Winners of each category:
